Flare closed her eyes, letting the scents of the forest wash over her. Her paws stung from her day with Firestorm and Winterstorm, and her stomach ached from her fight. "Apolloeye.." She murmered, recalling her bizarre dream form the night before.

Yes, my love? Apolloeye crooned, nuzzling his nose into Flare's head, breathing in her warm scent. He let out a deep breath, one he hadn't reallized he'd been holding since she had layed her head upon his shoulder. He listened to her gentle breathing, and he realized all he had ever wanted was with him right now. Someone to love, to care for, and to be cared about....

Flare suppressed an inward shudder at how calm he sounded. What if didn't like her idea...? She took a deep breath, and exhaled, taking the thought with it. "I had a dream... These cats, Bloodclaw and Hiddenshadow, they told me if we helped them kill Artemisstar and Phoenixstar, you'dget your sight back, but I think I can convince them to give it back before anyone gets hurt." Flare mumbled.

Then we could warn the leaders, and help them defend against the attack. It's a wonderful idea. I know Hiddenshadow. Bloodclaw was his mentor, Hiddenshadow left EnergyClan and went to FireClan. He is a traitor. Bloodclaw tried to kill ArtemisStar, but she sent him into exile, Apolloeye meowed quietly, his heart skipping a beat or two at the thought of being able to see. He sighed, thinking about Bloodclaw, and then Hiddenshadow's betrayal. Now Hiddenshadow was somehow being controlled by Bloodclaw...he wondered how many other cats wanted to kill his precious(sp?) sister.

Flare nodded in agreement, thinking of the odd cats she had deamt of. Her fur across er shoulders stood up in response, and she shivered. "Hiddenshadow must be killed though." Her voice was shaky, but stern.

I agree. Hiddenshadow must be dealt with. The sooner we get rid of him the better. Don't worry, we'll sort this out, Apolloeye meowed, licking Flare's ears comfortingly. He sighed, wishing he could do more for Flare. She sounded scared, and he wanted to comfort her more. I promise, we'll get rid of him, Apolloeye meowed, his voice sounding very certain.

Flare nodded, but her ears perked up.
"I think I need a warrior ceremony" She mewed. Flare tried to shake away the thoughts of what Kodiak, or one of the weird cats from her dream might do to her when she betrayed them. She suppresed a shudder.

You deserve one. If you'd like, we can go talk to ArtemisStar about it right now, Apolloeye meowed, his hopes soaring. Maybe she'll stay in EnergyClan! That would be wonderful... his thoughts trailed off as he remembered that she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. He listened to the leaves swishing in the wind, lost in the peaceful sound for a moment.
