Wingpaw and Silverpaw only!

Silverpaw woke up in the dark forest where he often met Bloodclaw, though, the black cat was nowhere to be seen. He looked around, puzzled for a moment, then a voice echoed inside of his head.

You and Wingpaw are going to get some training done. She'll be here soon. Make sure you teach her the weak points of every cat, as well as some effective fighting techniques.

Alright, I guess I better do what Bloodclaw says, Silverpaw thought, then sat and curled his tail around his paws, waiting patiently for his sister.

Wingpaw arrived a few moments later. She looked around the black forest still creped about how there was no light at all it was like the Twilight zone. She looked around and Silverpaw she went over and asked him"How did your training go?" Then she changed her thoughts and she asked"Alright where do we began?" Wingpaw looked around seeing nobody was around she was glade for she hated seeing Bloodfang and Harshpaw seeing her mess up.

It's easy. First, this is a good spot to hit if the cat you're fighting is bigger than you, Silverpaw meowed, tapping Wingpaw lightly on the side of the jaw with his forepaw. It really hurts when you get a solid blow landed there. Another good spot to hit is right here, where you're bones are soft and not as tough. This time he poked her throat lightly with his tail, making sure to be gentle. He didn't want to hurt her. Don't let someone bite your tail, that really hurts. Trust me, the first time Bloodclaw fought me, he bit my tail. It hurt for days, Silverpaw meowed, licking the spot on his tail that had no fur, in the shape of a cat's jaws. I want you to attack me, and I'll tell you how to improve your attack, ok? Silverpaw meowed, padding three tail-lengths away from Wingpaw. He turned and faced her, bracing himself for her attack.

Very nice start, Silverpaw. You told her where to aim, that's good. I want you to show her the first attack I showed you, do you remember which one? It's the crouching one, if you forgot.

wingpaw thuoght for a moment then she charged at him. Without thinking she aimed for the stomic 'sp' . Her mentor said it was the second soft spot.

Silverpaw lept out of the way, impressed she had aimed for his stomach. He had forgotten to mention that was a good place to aim. That was good, Wingpaw! He meowed, showing his teeth in a slight smile.

"Thanks"meowed Wingpaw. She backed a few fox lengths and waited for the next thing to do. She still wondered about how the place was made. Or why did both Bloodfang and Bloodclaw make a big deal about her mother. She also began to wonder if Ashpaw liked Harshpaw.

Alright, now I'm going to attack you. I'm going to show you this really neat move, it's the first one Bloodclaw showed me, Silverpaw meowed, crouching low to the ground, keeping his tail pointed straight up in the air. First you crouch down like this, and you have to keep your tail up. Then you jump into the air, like this, Silverpaw said, leaping two tail-lengths off the ground, then twisting around and landing back in the crouched position. If you do it right, you should land on your target like this, the same way you started.

Now I'm going to do the same thing, only attacking you. I'll keep my claws sheathed though. We don't need people asking how we got all scratched up, Silverpaw meowed, crouching again.

Wingpaw copied him except she had her butt sticking up way to high.She went after Silverpaw the same way. Except she messed up because her butt was to high.

You've got to keep your butt down! Otherwise the attack won't work. Here, watch me again, then you try, Silverpaw meowed, then demonstrated the attack once more. This is exactally how I learned this, He realized, remembering that he had gotten the attack wrong on his first try too.

You're teaching her well, Silverpaw. She'll make a fine additon to our group.

Wingpaw out down her butt this time. She looked dum, When she did it but got the attack right. After Wingpaw attacked and got off she shouted happilyI did it! Did I? Befor Silverpaw could answer WIngpaw backed up a few lengths getting ready for next instruction.

Yes, that was good! Silverpaw said, scrabling quickly to his feet. I'll show you a defensive stance next. All you have to do is keep your tail underneath of you and your legs braced, and be ready for the impact's blow, He said as he demonstrated the attack. Now, I want you to run at me and throw your weight into my flank, He instructed, ready for Wingpaw's blow.

Wingpaw thuoght to herself"wow this would be easy!" She ran at him and threw all her weight. onto Silverpaw. She could feel the pain in both her and Silverpaw.

Silverpaw tightened his muscles just as Wingpaw collided with him. Neither of them moved, it was as if Wingpaw had crashed into a tree. See? This defensive stance works, though it doesn't take away any pain, Silverpaw meowed, relaxing and flexing the paws on the side Wingpaw had hit. Alright, now I want you to try. Go about three tail-lengths that way, He meowed, pointing towards an Elm tree with his tail.

Wingpaw ran to the Elm tree. Her paws hurt a bit but she didn't care. For she was learning how to fight like a warrior or better.

Alright, now brace yourself the way I did, and just before I collide with you, tighten all your muscles, Silverpaw instructed, then got ready to run at Wingpaw. He wasn't going to hit her with his full force, because that might hurt her.
