1. Respect.
I don't care if you don't agree with what someone else believes, you still need to be respectful. If you are being disrespectful in a thread--while in character--it is slightly different, but if you are just talking to someone--in the chat box, in the OOC board, etc.--and you are unjustly rude, you will be punished for it.
Fighting also falls below this category. Arguments in the chatbox or in an OOC thread will not be tolerated. If things get heated, take it to PMs. If fights are seen in the forums (that are not characters fighting), both parties will be punished.
2. Swearing.
Moderate swearing is allowed. Using a swear word every once in a while is no big deal, but if you use it in every sentence in every line of your post, that is a bit over the top. Don't use cuss words mindlessly. There is a difference to having a point behind cussing and simply cussing. If your character is one who cusses a lot, simply put that they said "a string of curse words" or something to that effect. You don't need to type out each and every one of them. If you are caught using cuss words more than the admins find necessary, you will be punished.
3. Roleplaying.
You are allowed to control your character(s) and only your character(s). Taking control of another person's character without their agreement is consider power-playing, and is against the rules. You wouldn't like it if someone else made your character do something, so don't do it to them.
Godmoding is also not allowed. This is when a person makes their character invincible or impossibly strong. (For example, the character is never injured in a fight but always manages to hit the person/thing they are fighting every time, without getting sore or tired.) There will be little tolerance for either of the aforementioned acts.
There is no posting minimum, though we request that your posts are not one-liners. One-line posts are ridiculously hard to respond to. You can get at least a three or four lines, easy. If you can't find enough to respond with more than a one-line post, just wait a little while and think about it. Don't just post a one-liner because "it's easier."
4. Spam.
Don't do it. Spamming is when you post more than once in a row in the same thread--one post right after another without anyone posting between your posts--or when you post something in a thread that is not relevant to what the thread is about. For example: if there is a thread which is in-character you really enjoy and you want to tell the people writing the thread you like it, do not post in the thread itself. Either message the people posting in the thread of tell them in the chatbox the next time both of you are on.
