Each of the Clans has a post below, explaining a little bit about each Clan. There is also a [crude] map of Falorith below.

Kemen Kemen, while not largest in population amongst the Clans, by far has the largest land area, taking up nearly all of the southern half of Falorith. The Elementals of this Clan control earth. Their people are simple, most of the older generation preferring the quiet town life to the bustle and technology of the city. The younger generation is getting bored with the farming communities, however, leaving homes to study in the city under those who have undertaken more technologically advanced roles in society.
Because Kemen is so large, most families don't travel to the city often. They grow and make what they need instead of travelling half the country to go to the Dor, the main city.
Kemen frequently imports food into Galad, the energy Clan, since much of their towns and city is devoted to technology. The two Clans depend on each other for a number of things, and Galad has agreed to help Kemen fight against Orlym when the time comes.
After the Great War, Kemen took over the Orlym lands, claiming them for their own. Before the capturing of the lands, Kemen was less than a fourth of the size it now was; the other Clans didn't put up too big of a fight, seeing as Kemen was getting rid of the Dae Ohtar [Shadow Warriors]. Recently the Dae Ohtar have been slowly recapturing the lands they lost, but have so far only claimed the Ened [Middle] Peninsula, most of which was uninhabited by the Elementals of Kemen and therefore an easy target.
Since Amariel, the earth Guardian, passed away, the Dae Ohtar have not been afraid to attack towns and take lands bit by bit. The descendants of Amariel--who now rule by monarchy--are doing their best to train all citizens of Kemen over the age of 16 to fight with their Elemental Gift, but without cooperating with the other Clans, all of Falorith is doomed.

Galad Galad is the second-largest, situated almost smack-dab in the middle of Falorith. There is access to the coasts, though the area is rugged and difficult to maneuver along, so little can be done. The Elementals of this Clan control energy; their towns are rather sophisticated, complete with electricity and simple machines. The main city, Fëa, is the most advanced, with things like cash registers and trolley systems to transport people. (There are no cars or televisions/game consoles/phones/etc; they have not discovered this technology as of yet.) There is a speaker system that runs through the entirety of Fëa that is used to tell the people what is going on or give the daily news.
Since most of Galad is devoted to technology, the Clan imports their food from Kemen. The relationship between the two Clans is very strong. It is not uncommon for people of these two Clans to get along.
Being close with Kemen has allowed Galad to be informed of what is taking place along the Ened [Middle] Peninsula, with Orlym invading. Like Kemen, Galad has started to train Elementals they deem old enough to fight. (Usually an Elemental is considered "of age" at 16; if the individual is deemed not qualified, they are not sent into training until they are ready.) Without their Guardian, Galad is doing their best to teach the Elementals, but it is hard to reach perfection without instruction.
Calanon, the energy Guardian, died during the Great War. Since he had not really established a monarchy before he passed away, the people of Galad formed a sort of democracy, putting Calanon's trusted friends into the positions of the government. The new officials knew their deceased friend wouldn't want Galad to fall into a monarchy or a dictatorship, so they worked hard to ensure that people would be happy with the new form of government.

Lhach Located on the easternmost peninsula of Falorith, Lhach has the third-largest land area of all the Clans. Many towns populate the lands, though the towns may not be very large. They are easy to travel between, the farthest journey being only a few hours. The Elementals of this area control fire, and some say that the hot temperatures have made the people hot-headed, too. Nar, the main city, is the biggest industrial area in all of Falorith.
Lhach is heavily devoted to industry, producing manufactured goods (clothing, shoes, some food products, etc) and exporting them to the other Clans. They trade with Galad for new technology for their factories, though the two Clans have a simply neutral relationship.
Like Galad, most of Lhach's coastline is rugged and difficult to navigate. The southernmost part of the coastline can be used for hydropower (technology imported from Galad), but the heavy industry of the Clan has killed off or scared away most of the wildlife in the water.
Before the Great War, Lhach and Orlym were almost friends. They traded frequently and communicated, Orlym helping to further enhance Lhach's industrial field. Once Orlym cut off trade, however, Lhach vowed to get revenge for the disastrous downfall that nearly caused their industry to go under.
Urúvion, the fire Guardian, is still alive. After the Great War he created a dictatorship, ruling over the people of Lhach with an iron fist. Ever since the war ended he has been training the fire Elementals, insisting they begin to train at ages as young as 10. This has created a warrior people, with the children spending more time training than playing and laughing.
The people have heard rumors drifting over the Galad border about Orlym rising again, and Urúvion is convinced that he and his people are ready to fight, even if the other Clans are weak. Part of the industry has been put into developing war machines, crude representations of tanks and other metal machinery that can be used to defend borders. They have not formally pledged allegiance to Falorith, but they have implied that they will fight against Orlym if necessary.

Sûl In the westernmost reaches of Falorith is the Sûl, the air Elementals. They produce the power that keeps the technology and industry running; giant windmills create the power and the power is transferred to the Clans that need it through cables in the ground. Sûl has also created a machine (with items traded from Lhach and Galad) that delivers mail to the Clans by air. The machine is powered by four Elementals and visits each Clan about once a month. Thoron, the main city, is the main distributor of the wind energy and is also where all the mail is sorted before it is sent out.
The people import vegetables and fruits from Kemen, though they hunt their own meat (rabbits, birds, etc). The people aren't the most social of creatures, so they don't converse with other Clans often.
They have, however, heard rumors of Orlym rising again. The air Guardian, Bellsulion, passed away a few years after the Great War due to an illness, but left a government similar to that of Galad. She was deeply in love with Calanon and idealized everything he had created. In her opinion, it was Calanon that won the Great War for the Clans, whether or not that was the full truth. Since a democratic sort of government was what her lover would have wanted, it was what she created. The people of Sûl had no argument with the way the government was created and still live beneath it happily.
The air Elementals that are considered "of age" (18 here, instead of 16 as in the rest of the Clans) are being trained in the art of war. The younger children are being trained to control and use their ability, but not to fight with it. Bellsulion didn't want children who were young--as Urúvion and Ethiriel, the water Guardian had been--to know such hardships as war.

Nen Nen: home to the water Elementals. Nen has, by far, the least amount of land space. This doesn't bother them, though, because much of their time is spent in the waters along their coastline. Placed in the north, this Clan is the source of all of Falorith's seafood. The Elementals can also be hired to ship things to other areas, but the cost is pricey.
All towns are within half a day's journey to Duin, the main city, which is dominated with markets dedicated to selling fish and other marine life caught on the fishing boats.
Galad provides Nen with electricity in exchange for fish, and a few rumors have begun to trickle northward with the supplies. Orlym is rising again. Ethiriel, the water Guardian, is still alive. She fears the return Orlym, reluctant to fight the Dae Ohtar [Shadow Warriors] once more. Every Elemental who is 16 or older is being trained to fight, no exceptions. Nen has promised to help the other four Clans fight Orlym.
Ethiriel, fearing the worst will happen, has named a successor family to take over the monarchy she created when she became leader of Nen. Though she would never admit it, she fears that there will be nothing left of Nen after the impeding war runs its course. The Great War nearly destroyed all of Falorith; surely they can't survive another such tragedy.
