Crescentmoon looked around at the big empty world. *Well,* she thought, *this is better then knowing anyone who could abandon me again.* She was really lonely, but she would not admit it, not even to herself. Suddenly she heard the pawsteps of another cat. "What do you want?" she asked. She really didn't want to know, but she was curious. This cat had a strange smell, the smell of many other cats. When Crescentmoon looked at the cat she realized that the cat was a orange she-cat.
"My name is Firestorm," the she-cat said. "Who are you?"
"My name is Crescentmoon," Crescentmoon said. "But I like to be called Moon or Crescent, just not my full name."
"Okay, I'll call you Crescent," Firestorm meowed. "Do you know this area well?"
"Yes, just a little," Crescent meowed.

Sarafina heard Firestorm and Crescentmoon chatting and slunk up to eavesdrop, though with the combined scent of herself and her unborn kits on the wind, she was sure to be scented. The loner silently cursed her round stomach; though she loved the new life within her, the extra weight she had to bear was an abominable nuisance at times.

Crescent could scent Sarafina. She also knew her name. "Hello Sarafina! How are you?" Crescent called.

Sarafina mumbled a curse at her bulk and hauled herself into the open. "H'lo Moon. Who's your friend?" The loner waddled more than walked over to the two. Sarafina sat and curled her tail around her paws.

Sarafina smiled shyly. "Hi Firestorm, nice to meet you. Do you and Moon know each other?" Sarafina wasn't sure; she'd only heard the tail end of the previous conversation.

Sarafina nodded sagely. "Ohhh, did you know? Well that's wonderful. New friends are always special to have. But you're-" She stopped and sniffed. "-FireClan, right? Why are you all the way out here? Lost?"

Sarafina's eyes widened, showing more of the red tinge that was shot through her blue eyes. "Well, don't get so upset! You'll be OK. Moon and I will help you get back to your Clan, won't we, Moon?"

Sarafina's head snapped around. "We're loners. Who are you?" she answered and asked tightly. Her pregnancy had put her on edge, constantly afraid of some tragedy befalling her kits.

"woo it not like im goin to attack u im a loner to and i justed wanted to know what was goin on over here,my camp is near by thats all." rowan stared at them for a few sec and layed down to watch the show for he never seen many cats in the area.

rowan wondered who was firestorm but saw that the cats were looking at a cat with a strange smell that seem famliar from somewere.he relized that the she-cat was lost and he wanted to help not like he had anything to do anyway. he meowed" well umm hi crescentmoon how's it goin and i willl help u eeer firestorm get home."
