A gray and golden fox was sitting gravefully in a clearing. It was perfectly semmitrical, as though a circle was purpously carved out. Little flowers wreathed the clearing, waving in the breeze, and dancing in the sunlight. Toxic opened her jaws wide and yawned. She was bored and wanted something to do.

Deathjaw jumped from rock to rock with great speed for a fox. He long black legs jumping from the lower rocks to the higher rocks with no trouble. He came to a small lake and lowered his head to drink. Looking over his shoulders sometimes he hoped Artemisstar would not see him here. He loved living in the clan and being part of a clan. The only thing was that he would never have a family to live with in the clan. He was the only fox in the clan and he somtimes felt left out. Sure they talk to him, hunting with him, but he did not have anyone to talk to who was a fox like him.

Toxic lifted her head, and scanned around the clearing. The bubbling music of water reached her ears, and she suddenly realized just how thirsty she was. Swiping her dry tongue across her lips, she raced ahead, alot faster than most animals. Toxic could outrun a deer if she tried. The wind whistled in her ears, and the forest zoomed past her like a lost memory. Eventually her paws hit water, and she splashed right into a lake. Jerking her head above water, she lazily swam to the shore, enjoying the water that dripped off her stomach and from the bottom of her muzzle and her neck. Toxic loved an adventure. She barely paid any attention to her surroundings, and bent down to lap up some water.

Deathjaw lifted his head to smell the air. The wind held the secent of another fox. He walked trying to find out where the secent was coming from. This was the secent of a fox he had not see before.

ArtemisStar padded after Deathjaw, following him carefully. She was downwind, he would never scent her. She ducked in and out of bushes, being careful not to make to much noise. She didn't want to let Deathjaw know she was following him.

Deathjaw lifted his head he could smell another fox. "Come out i can smell you there." he called to the other fox he could smell. He waited for the other fox to come out and face him.

Toxic lifted her head up, and she caught the eye of another fox. Sure, somehwere subconciously she'd scented him, but she hadn't really cared. Most foxes were uncivilized and ate whatever they wanted. Toxic was careful with what she ate.She tried only to eat things like berries and flowers, mice, and little things. She didn't like to take lives. Besides, the more of the nature she ate, her pelt seemed to be glossier, her eyes brighter, and more energy flowed through her viens. Toxic bent back down, took anohter gulp, and licked her lips.

"What do you want?" She barked at him, shaking herself. She looked towards him from under her lashes, unknowingly being seductive.

[glow=red,2,300]What are you doing here." he called living with the clans he started to pick up more of the secent of a cat. He looked at her they were about the same age as each other. He knew that if Artemisstar was here she would not be happy about him talking to another fox.[/glow]

Toxic opened her jaws in a wide yawn, and in a sprint, found herself a few tail lengths in front of him. She twitched her nose for a moment, and caught the scent of a cat. She tucked one ear in confusion, and edged closer to him. Toxic looked up at him, slightly crouched, as if she would pounce at any moment. Instinctively, her lips pulled to a snarl.

"Why do you care? Shouldn't you be with foxes, or are you really just an ugly kitty?" She growled. Her voice was sweet like honey, but it bit like acid.

[glow=red,2,300]Deathjaw smirk at her his eyes sparkling in the light from the small lake. "I live with the cat clans i'm part of a clan called Energyclan." he barked[/glow]

Toxic rolled her eyes. Her fur flattened, and she stopped snarling. At once she became almost friendly, as if she'd known him forever instead of just a few short moments. She flexed her claws out, and stretched her back.

"Oh, so you're one of them. I see them alot. You don't belong with cats. Sure, we can stand them, live with them, hunt with them, but in the end, is it where we want to be?" Toxic began to ramble, and sat down, occasionally scratching her ear with her hind leg.

[glow=red,2,300]"I joined them because i had no where else to go. My mother Deathstorm drove me out because i helped the cats out once. She said that if i ever came back that i would die so i went to join the clans to be safe from her. I did have a good cat friend that i lived with for some time. Then at a gathering i asked to join a clan and the leader of Energyclan said i could. I do miss not being in a clan and just being a fox. Going on my own not have to not cross borders and everthing and you must feed the clan first." he barked.[/glow]

Toxic merely rolled her eyes at his long speech. Clans? What was he barking about? "Um... Well, you see, I love to be alone. I love hunting at night and sprinting across the grounds and not having to stop. I love to do what I want. I like feeding myself. As a mattor fact, I love meeting new cats and foxes and such. I know how to speak cat, fox, squirrel, and a few others. To be honest... I HATE squirells. Mice and squirrels are the only animals I hunt, even though I hate to take lives of animals with such intelligence." Toxic casted a sideways look at the fox. "Careto show me your territory? I'm sure it wouldn't be sucha challenge.'' Toxic made her eyes turn pleading, yet flirttatious. He'd melt over and she knew it.

Toxic grinned at him happily, almost glowing as she pranced over to him. "Thank you, but um, I didn't catch your name, what is it?" Toxic stared up at him from under her lashes, it always helped her get what she wanted. "I'm Toxic." Her eyes searched over him.
