Solarheart was walking along the border with her two kits. She was weary but she knew she must walk with her kit who were full of energy. She loved them but at times she wished they were more mature. She looked at the orange-gold tom beside her. It was Sunpaw. He was so handsome and strong. She wondered weather he would be accepted as a warrior or not. Sure the clan wasn't very big. She was the only warrior and they only had two apprentices. She looked at the blacker than night she cat beside her. It was Moonpaw. She was so stunning and beautiful. She wondered weather she would ever find peace and love though. She knew about what would happen to her kits.
Moonpaw walked beside her mother. Their pelts looked like blood against a night sky. Moonpaw knew she was stunning. She had seen the way the others looked at her. She was more than stunning she was gorgeous. She saw the way her brother and the other toms that she had met once in awhile loooked at her. Of course her brother thought she was pretty in a brotherly way. The others seemed to like her in a different way altogether. She usually ignored them seeing as they were in a different clan. She was the type who didn't pride herself on her looks but kept herself clean.
Sunpaw's orange-gold pelt shone in the sun. He was content walking with his family but still he wished he could meet another cat. The clan was tiny. He wished he knew other cats. His family was ok but not all the time. Sometimes he wished a female kit or apprentice would come along. He in fact wished that would happen. He wanted a mate who would like him for who he was. He knew that his orange-gold pelt looked good and looked really good against his mother's dark red one. Or his sister black one. He wondered how he could have been orange-gold while his sister was black and his mother was dark red. He figured that the black in his mom and the orange in his father had done it.
