Apolloeye padded confidentally towards the border, stopping every once in awhile to wait for Tsukipaw to catch up to him. He opened his mouth, and he scented the charred grass and plants. We're close to the border EnergyClan shares with FireClan, He told Tsukipaw.

It's Phoenixstar. Apolloeye said, not willing to talk about the leader of FireClan. Reaching the border, he gestured with his tail towards the blackened field. This is our border with FireClan. You must never cross it, unless the whole of StarClan are trying to eat you or something. Understand? Apolloeye said, his voice stern.

I don't know! Stop asking me! Go ask somebody who knows about stuff like that! Apolloeye snapped, lashing his tail angrily. He padded down the border line, using the scent of EnergyClan and FireClan to guide him. He stopped, hearing a mouse. He got down into the hunting crouch, and lept into a nearby bush, catching his prey. He killed it with a swift bite to the neck, then buried it. He padded back out of the bush, the tip of his tail twitching slightly. I'll show you how to hunt later, He mewed to Tsukipaw, hoping that she wouldn't question his lack of sight. She probably thinks I need to be able to see her to be able to tell her if she's doing the crouches right. He thought to himself, waiting for Tsukipaw to catch up to him. Hurry up, He called over his shoulder.

"Okay, but I want to tell you one more thing. I think I know Phoenixtear and Lightpelt. I don't know how, but I know them," She said, then she became quiet, she didn't want to snapped at by Apolloeye. "I'm sorry...I'll not bother you again with stupid things since it seems you don't care!" After she said this she took off running only to turn back and yowl, "I thought mentors were supposed to be compassionate. Every other apprentice gets one and I get stuck with the one who isn't! I'm going to find my parents and I won't come until I do!" Then she turned around and ran. She kept running till she crossed the FireClan border.

Apolloeye blindly followed her scent til it crossed the FireClan border. He stopped, trying to tell if she was nearby. Tsukipaw! Come back this instant! This isn't funny! Get back here! Apolloeye screamed, suddenly gripped by fear. What if she got hurt? He couldn't see her, he couldn't see anything. He had no way of telling where she was except by her scent and the sound of her paws, but he couldn't hear her.

Tsukipaw could here Apolloeye. "I won't come back till I find some answers!" She yowled back. Then she kept running and and found a tree.

Tsukipaw! Apolloeye screeched, pelting over the border after her. He followed her scent til he ran into a tree. He backed up, shaking his head to clear it. He hoped no patrols were nearby, he didn't want to get caught.

Firepelt walk slowly by the borders of fire clan and energy clan and stop.Look around and saw two energy clan cat walk by.

Apolloeye caught the scent of a FireClan cat and froze. He whirled around, not quite sure where the cat was. Who are you? He snarled defiantly. He hoped the cat wouldn't notice he was blind...or take pity on him because he was. He lashed his tail from side to side, ready to fight if he had to.

Firepelt was think of what the cat was doing, it was like the cat was blind?
She was just looking at the one cat and wondering is the cat blind or energy clan cat are weird?

Apolloeye snarled again, snapping, Yes I'm blind, you idiot! Got a problem with it?! He crouched low to the ground, ready to attack if he must. He had to stop this cat from getting to Tsukipaw, no matter what.
