Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join me here at the Energyrock for a clan meeting! ArtemisStar yowled, leaping onto the Energyrock. She looked down into the camp clearing, waiting for the cats of EnergyClan to gather around.
Apolloeye padded out of the warrior's den and sat down in the clearing, his jaw parted to see who was there. He only scented ArtemisStar, he was the only one down in the clearing so far. He hoped the others wouldn't take to long to assemble.

Foxpaw padded out from the apprentices den, his reddish pelt gleaming in the sun as he sat down in the clearing. "Hey, Apolloeye!" he greeted the older warrior. "Do you know whats going on? I was taking a nap!" He sat down by the warrior, a tad bit irritated that he was awoken by Artemisstar's call. He flicked his bushy tail, and curled it around his paws.

Flare's getting her warrior ceremony! Where is she? I can't scent her, The blind warrior meowed, parting his jaws to take in the scents around him. He twitched his whiskers nervously when he didn't pick up Flare's scent.

Flare's ears were flat on her head, and her body was slinking it's way towards Apolloeye. She still wasn't quite comfortable with some of the cats here, so she took caution when leaving Apolloeye's side. Her eyes were clouded with worry. What would her warrior name be? Would she have to go by it?
"I'm scared" She whispered nervously.

The fox came back out of the warrior's den. He sat aways off unsure if he should join. He wrapped his tail over his paws. He looked up to the rock and then looked around.

It's alright, Apolloeye muttered, nudging her gently. He twitched his ears, picking up Deathjaw's scent. He called out to the fox, Deathjaw, you can come over here. He hoped the fox would come over, there weren't many cats and the fox probably felt strange sitting alone.
ArtemisStar smiled as she saw Flare approach. Flare, please step forward, She meowed, and waited for Flare to come forward.

Foxpaw twitched his tail excitedly. He looked up at Artemisstar and back at Flare again. He twitched his whiskers excitedly. "Good luck up there, Flare," he whispered happily. He spotted the fox across the clearing, and cocked his head. He had always been curious about that fox...

Flare stepped up slowly, her ears flat against her head, tail curled around beside her legs. Her eyes held worry, and she constantly found herself looking back at Apolloeye for reassurance. "Help me" She mouthed to him before facing ArtemisStar. The fur across her shoulders threatened to stand up, and her mouth was stretching into a snarl.
"Yes ArtemisStar?" She asked cooly.

The fox nodded gratefully to Apolloeye and came over. He looked at the young apprntice Foxpaw. His coat did look some what like fox's coat.

You have trained hard and I believe you are ready to become a warrior. Will you defend your clan, even at the cost of your life? Will you obey the warrior code, just as your anscestors have? ArtemisStar meowed, looking down at Flare with a motherly look in her eyes. Her tail swished gently against the rock as she settled herself. The heat from the rock made her pads burn hot, the sun beat down onto her pelt, giving her un-necessary (sp?) heat.
Apolloeye felt the air swish and change as Flare mouthed something to him, but his lack of sight enabled him from knowing what the she-cat had said. He smiled, he was so proud of Flare. She had trained herself to be a warrior, and she was a formadable opponent. He remembered the first time he had met her. He had hated her, and she had made him her personal slave for the day, he had brought her water-soaked moss, fresh-kill, and dug fleas out of her pelt. The next day they had gone out into the forest, and she had shown him a stream. He was so happy with her, and he was glad she could finally sleep next to him in the warrior's den.

Foxpaw nodded towards the fox, and looked up as Flare went through her ceremony. Lucky cat... he thought to himself. I wish I could become a warrior soon... He sighed and flicked his bushy tail.

Flare stared uncertainly up at ArtemisStar, surprised at how much the she cat seemed to trust her. Flare wondered, for a brief moment, whether or not it was Energyclan or Fireclan she was supposed to protect. Would Elementclan hate her for turning her back on her other clan? The one she was raised in? Flare shook away the thoughts, and replied steadily.
"I will." She murmered, sounding stronger than she felt.

Then you shall be a warrior. Welcome to EnergyClan as a warrior, Flare. Tonight you shall sit a silent vigil, and protect EnergyClan against intrusions, ArtemisStar meowed, smiling at Flare. She looked around and, spotting the cat she was looking for, called out, Foxkit, come forward.
Apolloeye fluffed his chest out proudly and called, Welcome to the clan, Flare! He jumped up and nuzzled Flare, glad that she was finally a warrior. She deserved it.

ArtemisStar meowed, smiling down at the kit. Foxkit would make a fine warrior. She waited patiently for his answer, her tail swishing gently on the EnergyRock as she shifted slightly.
