Hiddenshadow went to sleep. When he woke he was in a dark forest. He had come back to Bloodclaw he was kind of happy to see him. In some way he wanted to be evil. He padded up to Bloodclaw "its good to see you again." he meowed.

It's nice to see you too, Bloodclaw mewed, lifting his head. He stood up and touched his nose to Hiddenshadow's forehead. A silent wind blew the tree's barren branches. Bloodclaw let his gaze rest on his old apprentice, wondering why he had come here.

You left their clan, they probably think that you'll betray them again. Don't worry, just behave and go along with whatever any of them say. Let them think that you're not going to fight them if they let you go. But, when ArtemisStar, Bloodclaw meowed, spitting the leader's name, least expects it, kill her.

Good, good. They will be helpful. Once Silverkit is apprenticed, you must start teaching him how I taught you. Don't tell him anything until then, and make sure he knows not to tell any other cat about our little plan, understood? Bloodclaw meowed, a proud glint in his eyes. What about the other prisoners? That she-cat, Flare. She could be of substansial use, couldn't she? Maybe she could con that blind cat into helping us, too, Bloodclaw meowed, thinking how wonderful it would be to see the look on ArtemisStar's face when she realized that her own brother had betrayed her. She'd never get over the shock! He thought wickedly, smirking to himself.
