Spiritpaw padded out of the camp, the sun's rays lighting up his dappled coat. He had asked Sunpaw if she would like to come to the forest with him. He sat down, and waited for her to come. What if she dose not come, what if she thinks i'm a waste of her time. he thought. He drew in a painfull breath at the thought.

"Spiritpaw? What is it?" Sunpaw asked. She had liked Spiritpaw for a long time. *I wonder what he thinks of me?* she wondered.

He dipped his head to her, he hoped he could be as strong as his father, when he told his mother the truth. "I..I wanted to be with you." he meowed his pelt growing hot, and he was sure his pelt was turning bright red by now.

"I want to be with you too. I like you," Sunpaw mewed. Her pelt, which was already red, was growing very hot. She liked him a lot. She looked around. She saw some moss. She picked some up and rolled it up into a ball. She tossed it at him.

Spiritpaw grined, he smiled thinking of his brother Schoringpaw(sp). He jumped up in the air with his long legs, that were made for jumping. He came back down, and turned to face her. "I care about you more then a friend, far more than that." he rembered his first she-cat he ever cared for, but she died. "I think the world would end if i was not near you." he meowed.

Sunpaw walked up to him and licked his ear. "I feel the same way. I love you," Sunpaw mewed. Her golden tipped ears swerved as she heard and scented a rabbit. She took off after the rabbit. She returned a few minutes later with a large rabbit clenched in her jaws. She set it down in front of Spiritpaw. "Do you want to share?" She asked.

Spiritpaw purred, "Sure." he meowed. "Your not from Fireclan are you?" he meowed to her.

"I am Yellowfield's daughter and she is Phoenixstar's daughter. I am from FireClan. I have just been good at hunting. And running. My sister can run almost as fast as lightning," Sunpaw mewed as she began to eat the bunny. She began to purr.
