Sunkit continued to leap and play. A leaf that fluttered down in front of her became a WaterClan warrior. Finally she became tired and lied down. She started to wash her back.

Sunkit turned and started to groom him. She was completely oblivious to the world. Her universe had narrowed down to the two of them and the beating of her heart.

sunkit closed her eyes and leaned her head on him. She began to purr. It sounded like what the monsters on the thunderpath sorta did.

Yellowfield knew that the time to go would be soon. She didn't want Lynxkit to be sad. But she knew that they had to go. "Lynxkit! Time to go! Time to go home!"
Lightningkit and Sunkit followed her.
Lynxkit didn't want to go. He wanted to stay here, with Sunkit.

Sunkit looked at the kits that where walking away from her. in her mind, she promised herself that someday they would be together. she knew that she would keep this vow for as long as she lived.

"And I'll miss you." she meowed. This would be easier if no other cats where around. But, there was some cats. Sunkit looked around her at the cats. They where all friends to her. and now she would be the only kit!

Sunkit sat and looked after all her friends. Hopefully, they would meet again at a gathering. Soon she would have her aprentice name. So would Lynxkit and his siblings. But the chances they would go to the same gathering where slim. Sunkit looked after Lynxkit. She could almost feel her heart breaking. The next time they met, they could be enemies.
