Poolkit sat outside the nursery, her big blue eyes scanning the clearing outside her 'den'. She rolled onto her belly, and sighed. When would she be an apprentice? She was old enough now, but she enjoyed lazing in the sun. But she longed to do something... more. That was it. More. She sat up and looked around, and twitched her skinny tail.

Bluesand wached poolkit.Her blue eye's flicked around.The grey she cat got up and headed down to were poolkit was "Hi how's it going" she mewed.She gave the kit a grin.

Poolkit stopped and looked up at the warrior with her questioning blue eyes. Her eyes widened as she asked, Are you a warrior?! My mama said that warriors were a good thing to be! I'm gonna be one when I grow up! Or maybe a medicine cat... that'd be fun too! She flicked her tail and gazed up a Bluesand with wonder.

Scorchingpaw gazed at the small kit prancing around the warrior. It felt strange to not be in the nursery, in which he had not long ago been captivated in. Yet, he hadn't seen his mentor in quite awhile, and worry grabbed at his heart. His mother, clan leader had also mysteriously vanished, with no one knowing where she went. He knew she would be back soon, he could feel it.....but he wasn't sure when....

Shaking the thoughts out of his head, he hurried over. " Hi Poolkit!" He purred whisking his long, gorgeous tail around his front paws. He gave Bluesand a respective nod, batting out a paw to lightly tap the small kits ear.

Poolkit giggled and attempted to swat the apprentice's ear. 'Ello, Scorchingpaw! What didja do today? She rolled over, revealing her blue-gray belly. She giggled again and rolled over, looking up at Scorchingpaw through playful eyes.
