Winterstorm looked Firestorm in the eye. I would like you to be... my mate. Can you? Imean... It's ok if you don't. The tom looked at his paws and took a deep breath awaiting an answer from Firestorm.

Yes! Winterstorm is going to mentor me! Sivlerkit meowed, jumping up and down on all fours. He let out a mrrow of delight, his eyes shining brightly. He curled his tail into the shape of a question mark, then padded proudly around in a circle.

Nightkit watched them dance around. She missed Flamekit. She was supposed to be apprentices with them. She crept out of camp. If no one else is going to look for her, then I will, she thought. She left FireClan territory and left for the unknown.
