Silverkit complains

Ashkit pushed his brother and meowed so only he could hear him. "Why don't you let mother mentor you then you can learn how good of a fighter she is and know where to kill her and where her weak spots are" he meowed a firece gleam in his eyes.

Silverkit narrowed his eyes slightly, thinking about what Ashkit said. She already doesn't trust me. She trusts you, you find her weak spots. Winterstorm is a good warrior, I want to be her apprentice, Silverkit hissed into Ashkit's ear, his hot breath flowing back into his nose when he took a breath. He blinked, returning the innocent look to his face.

Phoenixstar had not heard what they had said. She mewed, "Get going you two! I need to talk to the warriors. We will have your's and Lightningkit, Lynxkit, Sunkit, Nightkit, Wingkit, and Flame..." She stopped. There was a pained look in her eyes. She missed Flamekit. She had nearly said Flamekit would have her warrior ceremony. She continued, "apprentice ceremonies tonight."

Ashkit put on a nice look "Any thing you want mother." he meowed,but when he padded out of her den he meowed sofly "Fool"

Timerwolf padded into his leader's den "Is there some thing you wanted me for." he meowed.

Silverkit followed his brother, a half-smile on his face. Come on, Wingkit, He called over his shoulder, pausing momentarily for his sister.

Wingkit followed. Watching Pheonixstar and sighed.


Gingerfrost looked at Pheonixstar and meowed"Yes?" Lyaing down on the ground relaxing to make more room to breath.

"Winterstorm is out hunting," Firestorm mewed.
"Alright I'll ask him later. What I need to ask is so you want to take on apprentices? We may have to have one or two of you taking on two. I will take on an apprentice or two," Phoenixstar mewed.
"We will take on an apprentice or two!" Redheart, Yellowfield, and Firestorm mewed together.

Timberwolf stayed where he sat down in the den. He looked over at the others her kits where mentoring her new kits he thought.

Phoenixstar felt pain in her heart. She missed Flamekit. She was supposed to mentor her. Her and Nightkit. "Who do you all want to mentor?" She asked.
"I will mentor Wingkit," Yellowfield mewed.
"I will mentor Lightningkit," Redheart mewed.
"I will mentor Sunkit," Firestorm mewed.
"I will mentor Nightkit," Phoenixstar mewed. She looked at the other cats. "Timberwolf, do you want to mentor Lynxkit or Ashkit or Silverkit?" She asked.

Timberwolf looked up "I'll mentor Lynxkit." he meowed. His thoughts clouded on other things.

Phoenixstar then mewed, "I will also mentor Silverkit." She knew he didn't want to be mentored by her, but she had to know if she could trust him. She would try to turn him from the dark side to the light. She wanted him to have a fair chance at life. Not an evil chance, but a good one. She didn't want him to die an evil cat but a good cat when it came death came for him. She also wanted to die a death knowing that Silverkit wasn't evil.

"who will mentor Ashkit then?"asked Timberwolf from where he sat.

Ashkit had over heared what they said he ran to find his brother.

"Gingerfrost," Phoenixstar mewed. She hoped that they would all like the arrangement. "Now let's all go down to the Firepit and have the apprentice ceremony."

"Okay So I would be mentoring Ashkit."Gingerfrost bowed her head and left the den. She headed for the Firepit.

WIngkit watched Gingerfrost go and she mewed"So do you think where going to be apprentices?Silverkit?" She watched the other warriors and Her mom pad out of the den.

Winterstorm padded into the undergrowth, and looked around, his sences tingled. He heard something, and silently padded toward it. He could only hear the soft rustle of the dead leaves and his heart beat. The tom was about a taillength away, when he saw the huge brown mouse, just sitting there, eating. The wind was blowing toward him, so the mouse could not scent the white warrior. The cat leaped and landed squarely on the mouse. Killing it with the blow, Winterstorm padded back to camp.
