Description: Smokyfur is an odd-looking cat, to be sure. The base color of his coat is a pretty yellow-cream, but the tips of his long hairs are a smoky gray. His eyes are a bluey-gray, almost silver color, and are set farther into his head than most cats' eyes. His body is lean and his legs are long. Smokyfur's strong, long-clawed paws are scarred from traversing rocky terrain. Both his nose leather and paw pads are black.
Personality: Smokyfur is a stubborn, quiet and reserved individual, and owing to his Clan's having been invaded many times over his lifetime, Smokyfur is very suspicious, especially of newcomers. He is very respectful of authority and extremely loyal. He can also be described as diligent, thorough and often judgmental. Smokyfur finds himself very uncomfortable when dealing with cats that he has no familiarity with. In carrying out his duty, Smokyfur is quite tenacious, especially where the safety of the Clan are involved. Personally, he is slow to warm to new people and makes friends very slowly. Those that earn his respect are persons who are honorable and who have proven their merit in the service of their Clan. He counts among his friends Clearsong and Berryface, although he and Berryface don't openly admit their mutual respect. Regarding his friends, Smokyfur is somewhat protective of Clearsong, as if he were her older brother. Smokyfur is a cat of few words and his expression is usually unreadable except to those that know him well. Rather than explode when angry, Smokyfur will seethe under his tough exterior. One can tell that he is irritated because he will repeatedly sheathe and unsheathe his claws. Smokyfur is extremely strong.
History: Smokyfur entered training the same time as Clearsong and Berryface. The three apprentices became friends and the group is often called the "dream team" because their various talents and temperaments complement one another and they are quite effective at the various missions they are sent on together. Smokyfur specialized in fighting and had no trouble with training, but he did have trouble learning to deal with certain members of other Clans.
