Timberwolf padded out into the light. They had got across all the thunderpaths. Forest was in front of them. They still had some ways to travel.

"I don't think that would be a good idea. Wait till we get to Fourtrees. Then you can rest!" Phoenixstar mewed. They walked into the forest. She knew this part of the forest well. They were in FireClan territory! "COME ON!" She yowled. "I know a shortcut!"

Kodiak gingerly stepped outside of the two leg tunnel, and followd the Fireclan leader. The stench of monsters still clung to his fur, and lingered around him, but he barely noticed. The scent of blood was in the air agian, a following demon to him. He tried to ignore it, but once again, he found himself wishing for the sweet sicly liquid.
"Let's hurry, please." He groaned.

Timberwolf ran after her to keep up. They were coming home.
"I can't wait to go to my first gathering." called Ashkit as he ran after them. He looked at his mother he was going to a gathering.

Kodiak snorted at the young kit.
"Kits can't go to gatherings!" He mewed. "So I guess you're lucky" He added, as to not hurt the kit's feelings.

Phoenixstar led the way. She followed a stream. She could hear the voices more clearly now. She yowled in triumph! They were home! She started to run. She stopped as they came upon a large group of cats. She whispered, "Kodiak, you go first. Then let Deathjaw. Then Timberwolf, Ashkit, and myself will follow, with me in the back."
