"Oh! You may sleep in the apprentice's den," Artemis-Star meowed, smiling at Angel. "It won't be long before you've got a mentor, so you might as well sleep with the other apprentices," She meowed, then closed her mouth.

Angel smiled back and nodded. "Thank you ArtemisStar. Is that all you needed me for?" she meowed before she got up.

"Yes, you may go now," Artemis-Star answered, flicking her tail in dismissal. She stood and stretched, reaching her paws in front of her and clawing at the stoney ground within her den. She straightened herself then looked at Angel. "Will you find Blazefur and send him to talk to me, please?" She asked before the apprentice could leave.

The new apprentice nodded, "I'll get him immediately." Angel turned around and stood up, "Oh! and AtremisStar..." She turned around to look at her leader. "Thank you!" she mewed cheerfully. She turned around and padded out of ArtemisStar's den.

Artemis-Star smiled as the apprentice padded out of her den. "She'll make a fine warrior," She murmured to herself. She waited patiently for Blazefur to come into her den.

Blazefur came in slowly. Angel said you wanted to see me? He asked. He didn't know what Angel seemed so happy about, but she seemed rather cheery when she had talked to him. He wondered what AtermisStar wanted with him.

"Yes, Blazefur. Please, come in," Artemis-Star meowed. She smiled at Blazefur, he was a good warrior. He would make a fine mentor for Angel. "There is something I want to talk to you about," She meowed, then waited for Blazefur to settle himself.

Blazefur went further in and blinked. Yes? He asked. She was being all 'leader-like'. Well she's supposed to be but a cat can relaxe every now and then right? Maybe this was what Angel was so happy about.

"Would you like to mentor Angel?" She meowed, smiling at Blazefur. She knew he would make a wonderful mentor, for he was a wonderful warrior. "Angel requested you. If you don't want to, that's alright. I can find someone else to mentor her," She finished, blinking her silver eyes.

Blazefur blinked, eyes wide. He had just got her not even two moons ago and he was already being asked upon to be a mentor?! He tryed to hide his surprise, but had little success in doing so. He gulped, calming himself and regaining his composure. I'll teach her all I know. And hopefully more. He said accepting the offer.

Blazefur left, a feeling of pride for himself. He wondered what he would do first, though planning ahead wasn't really one of the things he did. He shrugged it off and went to see if he had any patrols left to do.
