Sneaking around with Ashkit

Ashkit padded on when he saw a bird he ran after it. Jumping up in the air he brought it down. "Got it." he meowed to his brother. As he draged the bird back. " want to eat i hope no other cat was by because i don't know if this bird was over the border." he meowed. He looked around to make sure no other cat was watching them.

Silverkit looked over his shoulder, annoyed. Nice catch, but can we stick to what we came out here to do? He meowed, taking a few more steps. He lifted his left paw and shook the ash that had gotten stuck to it off. Bury it. I'm not hungry, we'll eat it later, He meowed, lashing his tail in annoyance. His brother go be so laggy sometimes! He sighed in frustration.

Ashkit padded on when he saw the look his brother gave him. He licked his coat and thaught(sp?) why do i do that get of trackHe lifted his nose in the air and secented the Energyclan camp. " I smell the camp." he meowed to his brother.

We can't be that close. You can probably just smell the border markings! Silverkit mewed, sighing again. He rolled his eyes, then plopped down, waiting for his brother to catch up with him.

"oh i guss it is just the border markings then." he meowed when he padded into the Blackened Field. He tried not to get to happy his brother was sure to say somthing about it. His dark gray pelt blended into the night sky. He could see the faint outline of his brother as they walked side by side.

Silverkit sighed again, relieved to be back on real grass, not the coarse ash they had been walking on. Let's go! We made it! He mewed, excited. Silverkit kneaded his paws into the earthy soil, enjoying the feel of the damp earth. He breathed in the deep scent, savoring the musty feeling.

Ashkit padded in the grass looking around. "Energyclan here we come." he meowed as he looked around he rembered(sp?) when Flamekit fell in the river.

Silverkit padded after him, but suddenly a huge tom lept out of the bushes and attacked him. AAAHHHH! He screamed, his eyes wide with fright and his pelt bristling. The tom held him down with one paw and tried to grab his brother with the other paw.

Ashkit jumped at the tom cat as he tried to stop him. He jumped on him but the cat slamed him down to the ground. "Stop it." he hissed as the cat pushed him deeper into the ground.

The tom unsheathed his claws and slashed at Silverkit's throat, but then...everything went black and he woke up in his nest, panting. He looked at Ashkit, then shoved him hard with his paw. Wake up! He hissed, his voice a bit shaky from his nightmare.

Ashkit woke with a jump."where are we." he meowed to his brother shaking all over from the dream. He was sure it had to be a dream what else could it be.

We're in the nursery...did you have a dream where we went to EnergyClan and got attacked? Silverkit mewed. His eyes were wide with fright as he stood and shook the moss off of his pelt.

" i did have a dream and you were in it." he meowed. " That was werid(sp?) though i thaught it was real." he meowed.

I thought so too! It was so scary! Silverkit mewed, trembling. He looked around, seeing the dim sunlight pouring in through the bramble walls of the nursery.

"Well it's all over now and i hope i never have a dream like that again." meowed Ashkit to his brother.
